The Interbike 2013 cycling industry trade show, the largest in North America, drew more than 1,400 exhibitors who introduced to dealers, media and other guests the new bicycles, clothing, accessories and gear that will be hitting retail stores between now and the spring of 2014.
It’s always an exciting, if somewhat overwhelming experience – all those shiny objects! – and a great opportunity to visit with exhibitors, advocates and friends from the cycling community around the country who converge for five days in Las Vegas.
The show moved to a new venue this year, occupying 320,000 square feet, the largest footprint ever, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The following are a few of the stylish products that caught my eye on the show floor. In apparel, the Giro New Road collection for women was a standout, so there’s more to come on that line in a future post:
