We think not, given the love that New Yorkers are showing for their new bike share program.
As Mercedes Benz Fashion Week kicked off in New York City this week, color authority Pantone named the hue most used by fashion designers in Spring 2014 women’s collections. The winner: Dazzling Blue, which happens to be the shade of two icons of the moment – the Facebook logo and Citi Bike.
The cobalt-like shade was named by 17.05 percent of Fashion Week participants and other designers surveyed by Pantone. It was followed by the Violet Tulip and Radiant Orchid, in second and third place respectively.
So, come spring, we’ll all have plenty of (matchy) high-fashion options, like the one from JSong above, to choose from for our Citi Bike commutes. (h/t Today Style)
