It has been my experience that it’s hard to buy a gift for another cyclist –– we each have our systems that work, but that might not make sense for others, we have our favorite gear that doesn’t always come from a cycling-specific brand, and we might choose colors that don’t necessarily correspond to another person’s wardrobe palette. That’s why, when faced with the task of gift-buying, I go for well-designed things that aren’t always necessary, but that are useful and likely to be appreciated.

My 10 holiday gifts for cyclists below include clothes to suit up for cold weather, accessorize and maintain a bike or fuel an enthusiast’s passion, all in a variety of price ranges. Happy hunting — and happy holidays!

The floor pump is a work of art. Filson bags are classics and I love the BillyKirk leather pouch. I’m getting that one for myself
