We were taken with the first bicycle-themed temporary tattoo from Tattly the minute we saw it. Now, a parade of whimsical artwork for bodily boasting your bike love (above) has rolled into their collection.
Here’s what separates Tattly offerings from ordinary temporary tatts: Each is created by an artist or designer who is featured on the website along with his or her work. For example, when you visit the Tattly page for a recent introduction, Red Bike (second from right), you’ll learn a bit about its creator, Brooklyn illustrator and designer Katie Evans.
“Yay for a fun-loving design community that was in for the ride,” writes Tattly founder Tina Roth Eisenberg, who is also the wizard behind the mega-popular design blog swissmiss. Although Tattly grew out of Roth Eisenberg’s frustration with the relatively cheesy calendar-art tattoos that were available to her children, both youngsters and grown-ups are winners here with more than 100 designs to choose from. Check out the egg carton of bunny tattoos for Easter, too.
